The Board of Directors of the West Valley School District commissioned the Bond Oversight Committee, acting as an independent citizen advisory committee, to support the Board’s work by providing input and feedback regarding the construction and replacement of Summitview Elementary School and Apple Valley Elementary School.

The West Valley School District Bond Oversight Committee (BOC) is seeking new members.
The BOC is looking for 1 or 2 new members to join the committee that is providing oversight and board recommendation for the progressing design and construction of the new Apple Valley and Summitview Elementary Schools.
The BOC is made up of citizen volunteers who want to assist with the successful completion of these projects and ensure future bond measures do not face the challenges of this one. More information can be found in the attached Charter.
Interested community members should possess skills in one or more of the following areas: Construction Management, Project Management, Project Controls, Finance and Accounting, Contract Management, or Public Relations and have a desire to be involved in this process.
Applicants need to plan on a 2 year commitment and be available to attend meetings, review documents, and participate in discussions relating to the projects. The anticipated time commitment per week is around 4 hours.
