February Month in Review
In February, both projects sustained a productive pace without any weather delays. Although Summitview began construction a months after Apple Valley, it is getting closer and closer to closing that time gap each week. This month, Apple Valley saw finishes to carpet and VCT while Summitview saw finishes to cabinets and casework. Chervenell has continued to represent their Company and the West Valley School District with kindness and grace!
Apple Valley is preparing for the installation of curbing and sidewalks, followed by the remaining asphalt in both visitor and staff parking lots. Roofing and architectural metal wall panels are scheduled to receive final approval. The walk-in freezer and refrigeration systems in the kitchen are now finished. The Gym/Multi-Purpose areas are entering their final stages – starting to apply the paint schemes. With better weather, the month of March will allow the installation of the main irrigation line and irrigation system to prepare for the hydroseed germination period.
Summitview continues to learn from the lessons at Apple Valley and made quality progress in the month of February. All phases of construction are in full production, as the average manpower onsite daily is over 50 – above industry standards. This shows the heightened awareness on the completion date.
